About Dr Crane
David Crane, MD, founder of Bluetail Medical Group, Nova Vita Laboratories, and Soham Health, specializes in sports medicine and regenerative orthopedics. Treating patients across Chesterfield, Green Bay, Columbia, Mankato, and Indianapolis, he provides comprehensive orthopedic care with expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound for diagnostics and guided therapies.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completing his emergency medicine residency at Phoenix's Maricopa Medical Center, Dr. Crane pursued dual fellowship training in emergency medicine and primary care sports medicine at Pittsburgh's Allegheny General Hospital. He returned to Missouri to work at Barnes Jewish Hospital and St. John's Mercy Medical Center before founding Crane Clinic Sports Medicine in 2005, later establishing Bluetail Medical Group in 2008.
Board certified in both sports medicine and emergency medicine, Dr. Crane teaches regenerative therapeutics nationally and internationally. He has expanded his professional endeavors as co-founder of Nova Vita Laboratories, developing innovative regenerative medicines in North Carolina's Research Triangle, and as founder of Soham Health, creating software for clinical outcome tracking and education. Dr. Crane enjoys competing in orienteering and adventure racing. He's married and has two daughters and one son.
